Where water, stone, and time meet...Tennessee is home to hundreds of waterfalls — some well‑known, many hidden, and countless tucked deep into private land where only a few have ever stood at their base. For years, I’ve been exploring and photographing these remarkable places, from the iconic cascades of our state parks to the quiet, lesser‑known falls found along backroads and ridgelines.What began as a simple desire to document a few favorite spots has grown into a long‑term project to photograph as many of Tennessee’s waterfalls as I can, with care, respect, and a deep appreciation for the landscapes that make this state so extraordinary.Many of Tennessee’s waterfalls are on private property. I only photograph waterfalls with permission, and I’m grateful to the landowners who have welcomed me onto their land and shared the stories of the places they love.If you have a waterfall on your property — or know someone who does — and would be open to a conversation, I’d be honored to learn more. My goal is simple: to document these places thoughtfully and respectfully, and to celebrate the natural heritage of Tennessee through photography.  I never share exact locations of private waterfalls unless the landowner explicitly requests it.
